Opening of COP15 Ramsar in Zimbabwe
The French Embassy is proud to take part in the opening of the 15th Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP15) to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
A delegation led by Ambassador Paul Bertrand Barets, Ambassador of France to Zimbabwe, is attending this key international event, reaffirming France’s deep commitment to protecting wetlands and global biodiversity.
COP15 is a crucial platform to promote sustainable water and land management, and to support global initiatives such as the Victoria Falls Declaration.
We commend the Government of Zimbabwe and all international partners for their leadership in this global effort.
